<br />City of Centerville <br />Ordinance #8 <br />Effective 12116/82 <br /> <br />homeowners. <br /> <br />38.01-14. INSURANCE. Developer(s) and/or all its/their subcontractors shall take out <br />and maintain until one (I) year after the City has accepted the private <br />improvements, public liability and property damage insurance covering <br />personal injury, including death, and claims for property damage which may <br />arise out of the Developer's work or the work of his subcontractors or by one <br />directly or indirectly employed by any of them. Limits for bodily injury and <br />death shall be not less than Five Hundred Thousand and nofI 00 ($500,000.00) <br />Dollars or more. The City shall be named as an additional insured on the <br />policy, and the Developer or all its subcontractors shall file and the Developer <br />or all its subcontractors shall file with the City a certificate evidencing <br />coverage prior to the City signing the plat. The certificate shall provide that <br />the City must be given ten (10) days advance written notice of the cancellation <br />of the insurance. The certificate may not contain any disclaimer for failure to <br />give the required notice. <br /> <br />38.01-15. COSTS. Cost of Developer's improvements, description and completion <br />dates shall be described in the development agreement, to include a security <br />requirement of 150% of the cost. <br /> <br />38.02. CITY IMPROVEMENTS. <br /> <br />38.02- I. STREET IMPROVEMENTS. Street grading, graveling and stabilizing, <br />including construction of berms and boulevards. <br /> <br />38.02-2. STORM IMPROVEMENTS. Storm sewers, when determined to be <br />necessary by the City Engineer, including all necessary catch basins, inlets <br />and other appurtenances. <br /> <br />38.02-3. SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS. Sanitary sewer laterals or <br />extensions, including all necessary building services and other appurtenances. <br /> <br />38.02-4. WATER IMPROVEMENTS. Water main laterals or extensions, including all <br />necessary building services, hydrants, valves and other appurtenances. <br /> <br />38.02-5. PERMANENT STREET IMPROVEMENTS. Standard street surfacing, <br />including concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk. <br /> <br />38.02-6. TRAFFIC SIGNING IMPROVEMENTS. Standard street name signs at all <br />newly opened intersections. <br /> <br />38.03. STREETS. The streets shall be graded if required by the Council to the <br />grades and dimensions shown on plans and profiles and approved by the <br />Council and shall include the following improvements: <br /> <br />Page 19 of34 <br />
