A public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, <br />October 23, 1996, at 6:00 P.M. at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. The purpose of the public <br />hearing to hear all parties interested. Written and oral comments will be considered at the <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Your proposed assessment and interest rate has been set up as follows: The interest rate <br />on the proposed assessment is 6.5%. The proposed assessment amount of $14,232.88 to <br />each of the 33 lots will be applied to your taxes and paid over a 5 year period. If you, as <br />the property owner, pay the entire assessment within 30 days of the adoption of the <br />assessment role, no interest is charged. If you pay the entire assessment after the 30 days, <br />but before the City certifies the assessment to Anoka County, interest only accrues to the <br />date of payment.
