<br />RESOLUTION 07-15 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CIRCLE PINES <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN SAFE & SOBER PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city is desirous of promoting safe driving in the community and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Safe & Sober Program has proven effective in promoting safe driving, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Centennial Lakes Police <br />Department is hereby authorized to enter into a grant agreement with the Minnesota Department <br />of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety, on behalf of the City of Circle Pines, for the project <br />entitled: SAFE & SOBER COMMUNITIES during the period from October 1, 2007 through <br />September 30, 2008. <br /> <br />The chief of the Centennial Lakes Police Department is herby authorized to execute such <br />agreements and. amendments as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the <br />Centennial Lakes Police Department and the City of Circle Pines. <br /> <br />Be it further resolved that the Coon Rapids Police Department is hereby authorized to be fiscal <br />agent and administer this grant on behalf of the Centennial Lakes Police Department and the <br />City of Circle Pines. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Circle Pines City Council this 23'd Day of October 2007. <br /> <br /> <br />Dave Bartholomay, yor <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />Ja <br />
