City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />December 14, 2005 <br /> <br />4. Amendment #2 to Option Agreement – Backage Road (CSAH 14) City/Mr. Lloyd <br />Drilling <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson explained that the City has an option on the property that runs <br />out at the end of the year. He then said that the proposal of the City is before Rice Creek <br />Watershed District and the Army Corp. of Engineers and will be decided on in January <br />and Staff has asked for an extension of the agreement and the property owner has agreed. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />Amendment #2 to the Option Agreement with Mr. Lloyd Drilling. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br /> 5. Maguire Iron Pay Request #13 (Final) & Closeout (Water Tower) $46,981.56 <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson indicated that this would be the final payment on the water tower project <br />and noted the total project costs were $873,511 and that amount was slightly under the <br />budget. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that repaving the site will need to be done at some <br />point and the estimated remaining dollars will be spent on final site restoration work. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />Pay Request #13 to Maguire Iron as the final pay request on the water tower <br />project. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> 6. Alexandra House Contribution <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated she asked to have this placed on the Agenda because Connie <br />Moore was before Council in July asking for Council support of the Alexandra House. <br />She then said that she attended the Lino Lakes Council meeting and they are cutting all of <br />this type of expenditure out of their budget. She further commented that she would like <br />to see the City support the Alexandra House as Centerville residents utilize their services <br />and Staff has indicated that the Alexandra House asked for a contribution of <br />approximately $400.00. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve a <br />donation to Alexandra House in the amount of $400.00. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br /> <br />1.City Administrator, Mr. Dallas Larson <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated the police governing board met and discussed the <br />forfeiture issue discussed at the last meeting and they have requested that the City release <br />Page 5 of 9 <br /> <br />
