P~(651)429-8629 <br /> <br />January 3, 2006 <br /> <br />Ms. Maggi Novak, Executive Director <br />North Anoka Meals on Wheels <br />1562 VIking Boulevard <br />Cedar, MN 55011 <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Novak: <br /> <br />Your letter requesting expressions of support for your Meals on Wheels was shared with <br />the City Council on December 28, 2005 and Council requested that a letter of support be <br />forwarded to you on their behalf. <br /> <br />The City of Centerville fully supports the Meals on Wheels program believing that it is <br />essential to provide nutritious meals for those who need assistance in preparing meals or <br />who otherwise may not eat. Not only does the program supply meals, but also provides <br />additional human contactfmteraction and an additional set of eyes in case of an <br />emergency or help where additional assistance is needed. <br /> <br />Since we are not fully informed on the extent to which these services are being delivered <br />^ to Centerville residents, please provide us with some statistics in that regard.
