<br />Lifetime Achievement <br />Special Recognition Award: <br /> <br />The Lifetime Achievement Committee makes recommendations <br />and votes on another award at this time also. This award is the <br />Lifetime Achievement Special Recognition Award. The Special <br />Recognition award is given out by the committee each year to <br />those that may not always be remembered for all that they have <br />accomplished for Centerville, Minnesota or our country. <br />Possible nominees for the following year are discussed when <br />committee members meet for the present year voting. The first <br />Special Recognition Award was given to the pioneer missionary <br />priest Fr. Joseph Goiffon for his dedication to the state of <br />Minnesota and his thirty-year commitment to the community of <br />Centerville while he served as pastor of St. Genevieve. <br /> <br />This award can only be presented by a unanimous vote of the <br />committee members. <br /> <br />L <br />
