<br />The Lino Lakes code includes the following: <br /> <br />Single family dwellings shall have at least a four/twelve (4/12) roof pitch and shall be covered with <br />shingles or tiles or a standing seam metal roof. <br /> <br />Along with many other aspects of the zoning code, we will be re-examining our requirements in light of <br />current building materials commonly being used now. We have discussed expanding the metal roof <br />products that will be allowed. Brainerd has recently adopted a new Zoning Ordinance. We have clarified the metal roof <br />issue for us. We allow only one style of residential metal roofs that being standing seam. Dwellings <br />need to have concealed fasteners and accessory buildings can have either concealed or exposed <br />fasteners. <br />
