City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting <br /> <br />July 8, 2009 <br /> <br /> <br />c.Authorization to inquire and receive reports as to balances and transactions <br />may be accomplished by any of the following staff: City Administrator <br />Dallas Larson, Finance Director Michael Jeziorski or Account Clerk Kris <br />Sweeney. <br /> <br /> <br />d.Any previous resolutions inconsistent with this policy are hereby rescinded. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Capra, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers, to adopt <br />Resolution #09-019 – Assigning Duties as They Relate to Handling Banking <br />Transactions. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />VIII.ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br /> <br />1.City Administrator, Dallas Larson <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported that Centerville will not receive Public Facilities <br />Authority funding for green elements. This was scored on a point system. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz stated that, in the beginning, points were not going to matter. <br />However, they got more applicants than anticipated. Centerville is still on the list and, if <br />all rules are followed, it could still be eligible for future funding. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz stated that he will come back to the City Council with answers to their <br />questions. <br /> <br /> 2. CSAH 14 Updates <br /> <br /> City Engineer Statz reported that: <br />? <br /> <br />Cracked panels were replaced <br />? <br /> <br />Public Works is putting together an extensive punch list on things to be done <br />? <br /> <br />The electrical inspection has been completed <br />? <br /> <br />Timers should now be working <br /> <br />Mayor Capra inquired about the timeline for the bike trail. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson replied that it should be about two weeks. <br /> <br /> City Engineer Statz stated that the contractor would be responsible for the sod, with a 30- <br />day watering period. He stated that if the grass dies after 60 days, it will be the citizens’ <br />responsibility to replace it. He recommends that citizens not mow too low. <br /> <br />3. Parking on Lakeland Hills <br />Mayor Capra stated that people are parking along driveways and along streets. In addition, <br />Lakeland Hills is missing a street sign. <br /> <br />Page 5 of 6 <br /> <br />
