<br />City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting <br />July 22, 2009 <br />Mr. Fifield stated that agencies are not looking to take money away from redevelopment. <br /> <br /> <br />4.Platting of Backage Road Project <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that this has been an outstanding issue for quite a while <br />and the land needs to be platted into lots. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz asked the City Council to discuss how to best plat for the market. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that the City may have to re-plat the land later, depending <br />on who wants to buy it. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that the City Council needs to authorize funding for the <br />platting process. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Lee, to <br /> <br />approve the Platting of the Backage Road Project, not to exceed $4,700, as required by <br />the Watershed Permit. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />5.Centerville Elementary PTA Request for Bingo Permit – November 13, 2009 & <br />February 26, 2010 <br /> <br />Mayor Capra stated that this is a standard request that needs the City Council’s approval. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Lee, to <br /> <br />approve Centerville Elementary PTA’s Request for a Bingo Permit for November 13, <br />2009 and February 26, 2010. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />6.Identity Theft Prevention Program <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that this is an effort to comply with the Federal rules. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br /> <br />Fehrenbacher, to approve the Identity Theft Prevention Program. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />7.Staff/City Parade Participation <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that two staff members drove vehicles in the parade last <br />year. Council may want to consider compensating them for 2 hours, similar to last year or <br />they could be given 3 hours of compensatory time. <br /> <br />Councilmember Broussard Vickers stated that she would like to see compensatory time <br />rather than financial compensation due to budget deficiencies. <br /> <br />Page 5 of 8 <br /> <br />
