<br />Mr. March gave a presentation on the phase one of LaMotte Park and a linkage trail way. The whole <br />trail cost is $31,000 and the city has received letters of support from the County and City Engineer which <br />will be submitted to the State in hopes to receive grants. Mr. March commented that the City reserves <br />the right to deny the grant monies, if it deems necessary. <br /> <br />Mr. March alluded to the past Centennial association which was disband and the City ofLino Lakes <br />attempted to get the program back up and running. Mr. March commented that the City will need to <br />look at recreation programs and to offer to the Community. <br /> <br />Motion bv Councilmember Brenner, seconded bv Councilmember Travis to direct Staff to contact the citv <br />of Lino Lakes for possible recreation options for vouth activities <br /> <br />Mr. March recommended the Council authorize James Bownik, past Intern to continue to work for the <br />city at 10 hours per week. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Brenner, seconded by Councilmember Sweeney to authorize the contractual <br />employment to James Bownik, for up to 60 hours and worked at the discretion of the City Administrator. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />XI.
