<br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Mr. Navin mentioned he received a request from the Chain of Lakes Little League to use <br />the ball fields at LaMotte Park and Centerville Elementary School. Mr. Navin questioned <br />if the ball fields would be in shape and ready for use. <br /> <br />Mr. March explained we should respond to the Chain of Lakes Little League that there <br />would be two conditions: <br />1. That the ball fields remain available for City functions - i.e.: Fete des' Lacs. <br />2. The City Engineer determines when the fields are ready for use. <br /> <br />Mr. Navin added the Centennial Soccer Association might be interested in using the fields <br />too. <br /> <br />Motion by Michael Navin to lIPprove the Chain of Lakes Little Leagues IIse of the ball <br />fields per the following conditions - 1 Ball fields are available for City fimctions and 2 <br />City Engineer lIPproval before April 1, 1999 Seconded b.y Don Bahneman All in favor <br />Motion earned <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />Updates on Developments <br />Mr. March explained the 99-01 Fee Resolution has been adopted. The park dedication <br />fees have been raised from $900.00 to $1200.00. Mr. March mentioned there is a <br />development going in east of Clearwater Creek which includes 30 twin homes. <br />Continuing on, Mr. Gerald Rehbein would like to re-zone a 10 acre commercial lot to <br />residential so he can build 12 more townhomes (96 units). Additionally, a developer <br />would like to develop the land south of Center Oaks as soon as possible. Finally, Mr. <br />Rick Carlson wants to develop 20 acres of property just south of LaMotte Park, and is <br />also interested in 40 acres just north of The Woods of Clearwater Creek. <br /> <br />March Agenda Items <br />1.
