Star City Goals and Ohjectives John Magill suggested that the Economic Development Committee check with Theresa Brenner to see ifthere was anything new for the city to participate in for Star City 1999. Studehaker Fire Truck Paul Montain stated that we need to do something with the Studebaker soon, or else it will rust. Tim Rehbine questioned if there was a museum task group that would be interested in the Studebaker. Wayne LeBlanc will be contacted in reference to this matter. NEW BUSINESS Vacancy and Timeframe The vacancy will be published in the Winter newsletter, and will also be put up on the City Hall outdoor sign. Tim Rehbine stated that he will talk to Tom SchJavin, and Wayne LeBlanc, and John Magill stated that he would speak with Joe Goetz about their interests in filling this vacancy. Centerville Pumper Jim March informed the committee that the original Centerville Pumper is in storage at the Public Works building. Hal Liebel restored it in 1976, but nothing has been done with it since. The committee requested that the pumper be put on the agenda until a decision is made on how we could implement the pumper into the Design Team revitilization plan. I I i ! i I i i Ahsence John Magill stated that due to the birth of his newborn, he would not be attending the next two Economic Development Committees meetings. All-American Award The All-American Award is a nationally recognized award that the City ofCenterville would like to receive in the year 2000. There is a twelve minute video, a cassette tape, and an informational packet on the, award that will be put on the January agenda. County Bank The County Bank will be closing on their property in March or April 1999, and will be located diagonally from the Amoco Station/Clearwater Creek Mini Mart.
