Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> Meeting Minutes 11-04-09 <br />of park property on Centerville Lake.All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />Flea Market / Cleanup Days <br /> <br />1.Chairperson Seeley suggested the Flea Market portion of the event be only 1 day. <br /> <br />2.Committee Member Amundsen suggested using it as advertisement for the Parks <br /> <br />3.Recreation Committee and Bald Eagle Water Ski Club. <br /> <br />4.Some ideas for booths were 1) Master Gardener and 2) Waste Management / <br />Recycling. <br /> <br />5.Chairperson Seeley has agreed to be the primary contact. <br /> <br />6.The event will be the 8th and 9th of May. <br /> <br />Dead Broke Saddle Club Possible Funding Requests <br /> <br /> <br />1.Volleyball Court <br /> <br />2.Signage for Parks <br /> <br />3.Improved Lighting <br />Picnic Table and Pergola at Tracie McBride Memorial Park <br />4. <br /> <br /> <br />5.Pervious Parking at Acorn Park <br /> <br />Update on Volley Ball Court from Committee Member Amundsen; court size space 49.5’ X 70’, <br />actual court 59’ X 29.5’, requires 3’ of sand, no current cost estimate. <br />VII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Haiden, seconded by Chairperson Seeley to <br />adjourn the November 4, 2009 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting at 8:30 p.m. All in <br />favor.
