CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 97 -09 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DESIGNATION OF FISCAL YEAR 1996 <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING <br /> IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 TO BE REALLOCATED <br /> TO THE SENIOR HOUSING PROJECT #667 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Centerville has been allocated $5,000 in the 1996 Community <br /> Development Block Grant funding project #669, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Centerville has reviewed and evaluated alternative <br /> projects proposed for Community Development Block Grant funding, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Centerville requests $5,000 be reallocated from <br /> Community Development Block Grant project #669 - Accessibility to Parks Project be allocated <br /> to Community Development Block Grant project #667 - Senior Housing, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of Centerville to utilize the said funds <br /> to help acquire a site for senior housing, and <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that Senior Housing could provide valuable services to low <br /> and moderate income individuals within the community, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Centerville <br /> hereby approves, with concurrence of Anoka County, the allotment of $5,000 of the 1996 <br /> Community Development Block Grant funds of project #669 - Accessibility to Parks be allocated <br /> to Community Development Block Grant project #667 - Senior Housing. <br /> Passed by the City Council of the City of Centerville on this day of 1997. <br /> 'Tom Wilharber <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Ry -Chel Gaustad <br /> City Clerk <br />
