Gaustad reported Bill Nelson, Ex -Mayor of Ham Lake, indicated Anoka County has the fifteenth <br /> fastest growing senior population in America. Mr. March reported Tim Yantos from Anoka <br /> County requested a start date commitment from the City of Centerville. Anoka County is close to <br /> the projected ten million bond caps, if the County goes beyond they will be able to receive <br /> better bond ratings. <br /> Councilmember Brenner suggested the City accept comments and input on the building from the <br /> area seniors and wait on building a facility until 1998. <br /> Park and Recreation Committee - _ _ <br /> Councilmember Powers - Rasmussen reported the Park and Recreation Committee had no quorum. <br /> Consent Agenda - <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Buckbee, seconded by Councilmember Brenner to approve the <br /> consent agenda (EXHIBIT B) <br /> MOTION by Buckbee, seconded by Helmbrecht to adjourn the April 9, 1997 Council Meeting. <br /> Meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m. <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> Ry -Chel Gaustad <br /> City Clerk <br /> 8 <br />
