This is
an undesirable situation in the event of a watermain break. During such a break,
ELECTRICAL MECHANICAL residents would be without water supply for both domestic use and for fire fighting. With
ENGNEER'N0. a looped system, the watermain break can be isolated, and water can be provided from
HVAC a different direction.
POWER DISTRIBUOON
SCADA Property Values and Easement Costs
SISEE " CON'-CS
Determining the cost of the creek crossing options includes the cost of acquiring a utility
easement. To estimate this cost, we contacted the Anoka County Assessor's Office to
determine a square foot rate for the land value. Based on the land valuations on file at
the County, the rate for the land is approximately $2.40 per square foot. Assuming an
easement 20 feet wide, the easement costs range from $3,400 to $8,000, depending on
the different length of easement needed to acquire.
The easement cost does not include the cost of any tree replacement or landscaping
PPKES IN: disturbed by the construction. Costs have been included in the construction estimate for
MINNEAPOLIS sodding and tree removal. The easement costs do not include the land already within the
PRIOR LAKE existing drainage easement for Clearwater Creek.
ST.
