Open door policy with council & management <br /> I. The organization allows continuing education for employees. <br /> 7. Young community with potential to grow as designed. <br /> K. Citizen involvement <br /> L. Experienced Mayor & Council <br /> M. Long History & French heritage <br /> N. New residents willing to become more involved with City affairs. <br /> O. Financial strength & growth phase. <br /> P. Experienced council in government <br /> Q. Qualified staff that is willing to accept training in any areas. <br /> R. Strength within its people <br /> S. Ability to adapt to a changing environment. <br /> T. Lack of desire sometimes to work as a team. <br /> B. Past negative continents can still impact performance which is counterproductive. <br /> C. Focus ed effort t o maintain professional relationships by staff members, council and <br /> comnittee members. <br /> D. A minimally experienced staff <br /> e. Lack of standard procedures & accountability <br /> f. Lack of plan of action to implement long range objectives. <br /> G. Lack of Ordinance cohesiveness & uniform enforcement <br /> h. Bring pay into line with Metro surveys (Staton reports) <br /> I. Lack of communication <br /> k. Accountability <br /> 1. Pay inequity - Although improving, should be comparable with other cities. <br /> M. Lack of a prudent investment policy. <br /> N. Lack of a 5 -10 year EDC plan <br /> O. Ordinance codification. <br /> P. Technology advancements. <br /> Q. Lack of procedures. <br /> R. Communication. <br /> S. Clarification of duties at times. <br /> T. Communication from administration who are not forthcoming with information.. <br /> U.
