Council members and staff to attend the Wargo Nature Park Preserve meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br /> ADMINISTRATORS REPORT <br /> Mr, March gave an update on the union negotiations and that the union employees will be voting <br /> on the Council's counter proposal and they are considering at a two -year contract. Mr. March <br /> suggested that a union contract update be present to the new Council members during the January <br /> 20, special meeting. <br /> Mr. March noted that two interested parties are interested in purchasing the two -acre Cedar <br /> Street Park property. Mr. March commented that he plans to discuss the issue during the special <br /> meeting. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA <br /> 1. Resolution 99 -03 Responsible Authority <br /> 2. Renewal of Special Use Permits <br /> 3. Renewal of 1)og Kennel License <br /> Councilme Brenner moved to approve the consent agenda Coun thine mber Travi <br /> seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The consensus of the Council is to authorize Mary Capra to lend the City pictures to the <br /> Elementary School while students study Centerville history. <br /> Mayor Wilharber questioned a letter the City received in regards to a path/trail along the creek. <br /> Mr. March explained some residents had erroneous information. <br /> Ms. Dorn requested the City publish a monthly newsletter to keep residents abreast of pending <br /> issues and new developments. Ms. Nelson also suggested a special newsletter to cover the <br /> Minnesota Design Team (MDT) interest and ideals. Mayor Wilharber commented the cost and <br /> time that are associated with publishing a monthly newsletter would have to be investigated. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Co uncilmember Nelson moved to adjourn Councimember Sweeney seconded the motio <br /> Motion carried unanimously, <br /> The January 14, 1999 Council meeting adjourned at 9:10 p.m. <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> 7 <br />
