This project would help reduce the risk of Centerville from <br /> having any drinking water shortages until additional storage capacity can be added to <br /> the system. After which, the interconnection would still be used as an emergency <br /> backup in the event of any failure within Centerville's municipal water system and <br /> during maintenance periods.
