MEMO <br /> DATE : February 5, 1999 <br /> TO : Honorable Mayor and Council <br /> FROM : Jim March <br /> RE : CPLPD Tri -City Task Force Update <br /> *************** * * * * * ** * *** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** * ** <br /> Enclosed in your packet are copies of the most recently distributed documents from the last <br /> Tri-City Task Force meeting which was held on Tuesday, February 2, 1999. Included in the <br /> handouts are a copy of the departmental inventory of all assets and an analysis showing the use of <br /> the International Association of Police Chiefs staffing formula for determining full time equivalent <br /> police officers needed to handle the workload in the respective Cities. <br /> The next Tri-City Task Force meeting has been scheduled for March 3, 1999 at 7:00 at Lexington <br /> City Hall. It may be more appropriate to discuss this information in a workshop setting prior to <br /> the next Task Force meeting. There is no action required on this item at this time, unless the <br /> Council wishes to set a date for a workshop. <br />
