In addition to providing customer <br /> ervice for residents of Lauderdale, Bownik is responsible for the city's <br /> n ewsletter, elections, payroll and utility billing. He also is the recycling <br /> coordinator and serves on both the Park and Community Involvement <br /> Committee and the 50th Anniversary Committee. <br /> "The city of Lauderdale and I are a good match," Bow nik said. "1 like <br /> smaller cities in a large metropolitan area." <br /> I Bownik added that his future professional goals include staying in the <br /> city planning and administrative field, and perhaps attending graduate <br /> tchool to pursue a master's degree in public administration, but not <br /> I mmediately. `I've -feet my goals for a while," Bownik concluded. Bownik resides in Vadnai Heights with his wife Staci. <br />
