March 16, 1999
City of Centerville
1880 Main Street
Centerville, MN 55038
David & Michele Wroblewski
1845 Revoir Street
Centerville, MN 55038
RE: Acorn Creek Park
To the Park and Recreation Committee,
We would like it to be known that we are in favor of seeing the Acorn Creek Park
developed into a children's park. We would like to see a play structure, walking
path, and open space for playing. We are aware that negotiations are currently
taking place on this park and we have an interest in developing Acorn Creek into a
family park for our children. We are in favor of the City applying for an "Outdoor
Recreation Grant" to aid in project costs.
We live at 1845 Revoir Street and have lived her for 1 year. We have 2 children,
and to have a park close to our home would be a great benefit. To have a play
area within walking distance from our home where are children will be safe is very
important to us. When we decided to move to Centerville, what attracted us most
was the small community and family parks.
We are willing to support Acorn Creek as a family park, and would appreciate our
requests heard.
erel /L
—4
Y d-
Dave & Michele Wroblewski
cc: City Council
Mayor
