Officers -Grid #5 /file
I would suggest that a neighborhood crime watch group be started in this area. I have
forwarded a copy of Amy &Scott Nash's letter to CSO Miller. Perhaps the Nash's will
consent to be the block captains.
The neighborhood can then decide what issues need addressing and the C.O.P. officer's
assigned their grid, (Officer David Frank and Corporal Michael Jensen) can assist them in
finding solutions.
Visible enforcement of the current speed law, along with the cooperation of all area
residents, will go along way toward reaching harmony in the neighborhood. Reducing the
speed limit in one residential area would most likely necessitate the reduction of all
residential speed zones. As to the posting of a "Children at Play" sign, I would leave that
to the discretion of the council.
