Proposal City of Centerville <br /> Historical Information & <br /> Preservation <br /> I would like to address the City Council for a request for funds regarding Centerville <br /> historical information. I will be addressing four items at this time and requesting <br /> funding. I would like to thank you ahead of time for your time and consideration of <br /> these requests. <br /> ANOKA COUNTY - AROUND THE COUNTY PROGRAM: <br /> "Centerville in the year 2000" - The Anoka County Historical Society has request all <br /> the Around the County representatives to take photos of their city for a millennium <br /> project. I have been taking photos around Centerville that represent our city in the <br /> year 2000. From education, religion, military, restaurants, to parks and play I have <br /> been taking photos of our city and its businesses and residents. <br /> Anoka County Historical Society requested the film be sent to them undeveloped with <br /> a description of all the shots take. I have requested they allow the City of Centerville <br /> to have the film developed with a second set of prints made for the city to comprise an <br /> album that would remain in Centerville. This would mean the city would have to <br /> cover the cost of development and postage to mail the finished photos to the county. <br /> ANOKA COUNTY PHOTO PROJECT - Cost estimates would be approximately <br /> $9.95 plus tax per roll for development. The historical society has donated one roll of <br /> film and I would donate the other roll offilm for this project. I would be looking at <br /> using two rolls of 24 exposures. Photos would need to be mounted this cost should not <br /> exceed $10.00. I would also request these photos be placed on CD Rom for <br /> preservation this cost is $9.95 per 24 exposure film. <br /> ANOKA COUNTY PHOTO PROJECT - <br /> Total cost approximately $50.00 <br /> CITY OF CENTERVILLE HISTORICAL PHOTOS <br /> PRESERVED ON CD ROM. <br /> I would like to propose having the negatives for the historic photos that hang in the <br /> council chambers places on CD Rom for preservation. I have investigated the cost of <br /> this and Proex can complete this for a cost of $9.95 per 24 negatives. <br /> CITY OF CENTERVILLE HISTORIC PHOTOS <br /> CONVERTED TO CD ROM <br /> Total approximate costs for 50 negative $20.00 plus tax. <br />
