• <br /> C• Brainerd City Code 901.15 Subd. 6 (Cont.) <br /> (2) Vaccinated Animals. If the bitten cat is <br /> vaccinated in accordance with the provision of this <br /> Section, the cat shall be held as follows: <br /> (a) The cat shall immediately be revaccinated and <br /> confined at the owner's home for a period of <br /> thirty (30) days following revaccination; or <br /> (b) If the cat is not immediately revaccinated, <br /> the animal shall be confined in strict <br /> isolation in a kennel for six (6) months under <br /> the supervision of a veterinarian. <br /> - <br /> (3) In either situation, that is (1) or (2) of Subd. 6, <br /> if the veterinarian determines that the bitten cat <br /> is rabid, said cat shall be euthanized. <br /> Subd. 7. Payment of expenses. The owner of the cat shall <br /> bear all expenses relative to compliance with the terms of this <br /> Section including, but not limited to, impound charges and all test <br /> and services provided by a veterinarian. <br /> 901.17. Penalty for Violation. Any owner who is found to be in <br /> violation of any provision of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a <br /> misdemeanor and punished accordingly including the payment of all <br /> appropriate costs as prescribed in this Ordinance. <br /> Revised Ordinance No. 993. <br />
