Owner title of any animal may be transferred to the <br /> animal shelter facility upon expiration of the legal detention <br /> period, provided that the animal has not been claimed by the owner. <br /> • E. Impound Fees - any animal impounded hereunder may <br /> be reclaimed by the owner of such animal within ten(l0) days, <br /> excluding holidays, after such impoundment. Before the owner <br /> shall be permitted to retake possession of such animal, the owner <br /> shall make payment to the animal shelter of all required fees and <br /> cost of such impoundment <br /> F. Security - A person claiming an interest in an animal <br /> in custody may prevent disposition of the animal by posting <br /> security in an amount sufficient to provide for the animal's <br /> actual costs of care and keeping. The security must be posted <br /> within ten (10) days of the seizure, inclusive of the date of the <br /> seizure. <br /> G. Seizure by a citizen - It is unlawf4l for any person <br /> to seize and impound an animal found running at large. Any <br /> person who discovers or seizes an animal running at -large shall <br /> within six hours thereafter notify the animal control officer or <br /> appropriate law enforcement agency of any such seizures. <br /> Sub. 9. The owner of any animal within the City shall provide <br /> such animal with: <br /> 1) Food - food of sufficient quantity and <br /> quality to allow for normal growth and <br /> maintenance of health and body weight. <br /> 2) Water - animals must be provided clean, <br /> fresh water, or supplied by free choice, in <br /> quantities sufficient to satisfy the animal's <br /> needs to maintain normal health. Snow or ice <br /> is not an adequate water supply. <br /> B.
