Subd. 32.03 -04 "Political Signs" <br /> Attached please find a few of the surrounding communities political sign ordinance. The <br /> following is submitted for your consideration. <br /> CURRENT ORDINANCE: <br /> Political signs are allowed in any district on private property with the consent of the owner <br /> of the property to a maximum size of sixteen (16) square feet per side. Such signs must be <br /> removed by property owner within seven (7) days following the date of the election to <br /> which they apply. <br /> AMEND TO READ: <br /> Political signs shall not exceed eight (8) square feet in area in residential districts and 32 <br /> square feet in all other districts. Such signs shall not be erected prior to the first day of <br /> filing. Such signs shall be removed within seven (7) days after the election to which they <br /> are applicable. Each such sign shall contain the name and address of the person <br /> responsible for the placement of the sign. Such persons shall be responsible for the <br /> removal. Signs are prohibited in the public right -of -way. <br />
