Circle Pines (1330.03 k.) Political Campaign Signs. <br /> Signs designating candidates seeking public political office and other data pertinent <br /> thereto shall be permitted on private property only, provided that the property <br /> owner's permission has been obtained, as follows: a maximum area of nine (9) <br /> square feet for each premise in a residential zone and maximum area of thirty -two <br /> (32) square feet In a commercial or industrial zone. These signs shall be located <br /> on private property and shall not be less than fifteen (15) feet from the nearest <br /> edge of the - pavement and fifty (50) feet from the nearest curb line intersection of <br /> any street or road. These signs may be displayed thirty (30) days prior to five (5) <br /> days after the eleoiion for which they are intended. If a general election follows <br /> within sixty (60) days of a primary election, those candidates who were successful <br /> in the primary election may continue to display their signs until five (5) days atter <br /> the general election. Signs placed in violation of this Section are subject to <br /> immediate removal. <br /> Columbia Heights <br /> Following are criteria pertaining to the use of political signs in residential areas: <br /> Allowed provided they do not exceed eight (S) square feet per surface, and limited <br /> to two (2) surfaces, provided they are displayed not more than thirty (30) days prior <br /> to an election or referendum and not more than seven (7) days following said <br /> election or referendum for which the sign is being erected. Permits not required. <br /> Columbus (7B -203) Political Signs. <br /> Political campaign Signs may be permitted on private property in any District, but <br /> rnay not be placed sooner than ninety (90) days preceding the election involved <br /> and must be removed within ten (10) days following the election. <br />
