• <br /> VIII. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Amend Resolution 99 -02 Fee Schedule for 1999 <br /> 'Interim Use Permit $75.00 <br /> Annual Review for Pubic Works Director/Building Official one step increase to step 6, grade 9. <br /> Motion by Councilmember , seconded by Councilmember Nelson to approve the consent agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> IX. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Planning and Zoning - Seven member Commission and meeting start time. <br /> Ms. Gaustad commented that the Planning and Zoning Commission discussed operating as a <br /> seven instead of a five member commission. This action was discussed in hopes to have more <br /> input on issues and to eliminate stress induced by required attendance. Ms. Gaustad commented that <br /> the city has received several letters of interest to fill the Planning vacancy. <br /> In addition, Ms. Gaustad reported the Commission would like to begin meetings at 6:30 P.M. instead of <br /> 7:00 P.M. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Nelson, seconded by Councilmember Travis to approve the seven <br /> member Commission and the 6:30 P.M. start time. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Police Task Force Update <br /> Mayor Wilharber distributed a memorandum regarding the Police Task Force and requested the Council <br /> read it and if any one has questions or additional input please make note. <br /> Mayor Wilharber also commented that the City of Lino Lakes sent out a memo to Circle Pines, Lexington <br /> and Centerville to consider consolidation. <br /> Mayor Wilharber received a letter from Margaret Langfeld recognizing the City for meeting the City's <br /> recycling goal. Moreover, recognition was given to the Citizens and Randy Hagerty. <br /> Motion by Mayor Wilharber, seconded by Councilmember Nelson to recognize Randy Hagerty for <br /> his recycling efforts. <br /> Councilmember Travis commented that he resigned from the School Facility Task Force Committee <br /> due to a conflict in scheduling. <br /> X. ADMINISTRATORS REPORT <br /> Mr. March noted that he distributed a letter from Bonestroo regarding water tower rates. <br /> Second, there is drainage damming on the west side of Brain Drive. Staff received a quote from Ro -So in <br /> the amount of $5,875. Mr. Palzer commented that he solicited another bid from Olson's but has <br /> not received the bid to date. Mr. March requested approval of the lowest bid. <br /> Page8of 9 <br />
