V. PAYMENT OF CLAIMS <br /> The City of Centerville June 23, through July 14, 1999. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Nelson, seconded by Councilmember Sweeney to approve the <br /> payment of Claims for City of Centerville for June 23, through July 14, 1999. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> The Centennial Fire District <br /> Motion by Councilmember Sweeney, seconded by Councilmember Nelson to approve the <br /> Centennial Fire District ratification of expenditures. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Final Pay Estimate for LaMotte Park <br /> Motion by Councilmember Sweeney, seconded by Councilmember Travis to approve the <br /> final pay estimate for LaMotte Park in the amount of $10, 089.89. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> VI. SET AGENDA <br /> • Chamber of Commerce / Y2K <br /> * Planning and Zoning Vacancies <br /> Motion by Councilmember Travis, seconded by Councilmember Sweeney to approve the set <br /> agenda as noted. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br /> Balloon Ride <br /> Mayor Wilharber reported he received an invitation from RE/MAX - to participate in a special balloon <br /> flight during the Fete des Lacs celebration. Unfortunately, Mayor Wilharber declined to <br /> accept the invitation because the ethics law prohibits the acceptance of such gifts. Moreover, <br /> he asked Staff to send a letter suggesting the ride be raffled and the proceeds, donated to the <br /> City celebration fund. <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> Royal Industrial Park Final Plat and Developers Agreement <br /> Mr. Mike Black (Royal Oaks) gave a brief overview of Royal Industrial Park final plat and developers <br /> agreement. The proposed plat is the same with an exception of street names, which are Gateway and <br /> Fairview. Mr. Black suggested one change to the developers contract. Currently, the contract reads <br /> "The base course shall be completed on or before October 15, 1999." Mr. Black proposed to change the <br /> completion date to November 15, 1999. Mayor Wilharber confirmed the new street names originated <br /> from the approved street name list. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Sweeney, seconded liy Councilmember Broussard Vickers to accept <br /> the Royal Industrial Park final plat and developers agreement with correction to the date of <br /> completion and the street names.
