Passed. <br /> A motion was made by Mike Delmont that stated that at the completion of the 2 " year of the <br /> joint powers agreement any city may request a re- evaluation of the commission structure. <br /> The chair would convene a Task Force consisting of city administrators and 1 elected <br /> official( non - commission member) from each city. This Task Force would report back to the <br /> city councils within six months with their recommendations. 2 " by Rick Anderson. Passed. <br /> The voting structure was discussed and a motion was made by Mike Delmont stating that <br /> each member has one vote. The chair would have no voting rights, and the chair would be a <br /> two year term with re- appointment allowed. 2 " by Jim Keinath. Passed. <br /> The three city administrators are to meet to fine tune the joint powers agreement with the <br /> recommendations that were done at this meeting. A Task Force meeting was scheduled for 7 <br /> PM, September 1, 1999 at Circle Pines city hall to review and recommend for approval the <br /> final version of the joint powers agreement. <br /> Jim Keinath and others discussed the meetings that have been held with Lino Lakes on a <br /> possibility of a Quad Cities arrangement for police services. The city administrators and <br /> police chiefs are going to meet and do a rough feasibility study on costs, etc. They will report <br /> back to the respective cities for further discussion. <br /> A motion was made to adjourn by Dot Heifort, 2 " by Howard Sutherland, and the meeting <br /> adjourned at 9:12 PM. <br />
