NoT APPROVE <br /> CENTERVILLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE <br /> REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> NOVEMBER 16, 1999 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Centerville Economic Development Committee held their <br /> regularly scheduled meeting on November 16, 1999 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> Present: EDC Chairperson Tim Rehbine <br /> Committee Member Mary Capra <br /> Committee Member Lori Dorn <br /> Committee Member Paul Montain <br /> Committee Member John Magill <br /> Committee Member Betsy Scheller <br /> Committee Member Michelle Moser <br /> Council Member Dick Travis <br /> Staff EDC /Staff Liaison Aimee Fairbrother <br /> Absent: None <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairperson Tim Rehbine called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Motion by Ms. Dorn to approve the October 16, 1999 meeting minutes. Mr. Montain seconded the <br /> motion. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> DESIGN TEAM — "IDEAS IN ACTION" <br /> A. Historical Properties. Ms. Capra briefed the committee on the "Historical Register <br /> Guidelines" for properties that qualify to be on the registry. Ms. Capra suggested <br /> contacting property owners in the City who have a property older than 50 years old, to see <br /> if they have an interest in preserving the historical value of their property. Ms. Capra will <br /> identify property owners who qualify, and together with Ms. Dorn will draft a letter for <br /> the property owners regarding possible historical value. The letter would be sent along <br /> with a "Commonly asked Questions" brochure for their review. If property owners show <br /> an interest in the historical preservation, EDC would investigate further the registration <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
