Commission member Hanson and Commission member LaMotte indicated the minutes looked accurate, <br /> although a quorum was not available to motion as approved. These minutes may be removed from future <br /> agendas. <br /> Motion by Mr. LaMotte, seconded by Mr. Hanson to remove the July 6, 1999 Planning and <br /> Zoning meeting minutes from future agendas. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> October 5, 1999 Planning and Zoning Minutes <br /> Motion by Mr. McLean, seconded by Mr. DeVine to approve the October 5, 1999 Planning and <br /> Zoning meeting minutes. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> DISCUSSION ITEMS: <br /> Firearm Ordinance Review <br /> The Commission discussed sections of the revised Firearm Ordinance. The Commission made a few <br /> changes in Section 5.02 and Section 5.04. <br /> Motion by Mr. McLean, seconded by Mr. DeVine to make the changes, forward the ordinance to <br /> the City Attorney for his review and comments and bring back to the Commission at their <br /> December 7, 1999 meeting. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Ordinance # 4 Review <br /> Mr. March informed the Commission of a booklet on "Preparing a Conventional Zoning Ordinance." He <br /> explained that this model provides the Commission direction in setting up the zoning ordinance to be easy <br /> to read and easy to administer. <br /> Motion by Mr. McLean, seconded by Mr. DeVine to table the Ordinance #4 Review, directed staff <br /> to provide the Commission with a copy of the "Preparing a Conventional Zoning Ordinance" for <br /> their review and for staff to prepare a "draft" Ordinance #4 incorporating the style described in <br /> the publication by the January 4, 2000 meeting, and to hold two workshops per month in addition <br /> to the regularly scheduled meeting beginning in January, 2000. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> Motion by Mr. Sheppard, seconded by Mr. DeVine to adjourn the November 2, 1999 Planning <br /> and Zoning meeting at 8:58 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> Diane Ward <br /> City Clerk <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br />
