Council directed staff to incorporate these changes and any changes from the Police <br /> Chief and City Attorney, prepare the summary for approval and bring back to the Council <br /> at the October 27"' meeting. - <br /> Refuse Contract <br /> Council discussed the revised refuse contract with Waste Management. Mr. Bruce <br /> Malec, Division Manager for Waste Management was present to answer questions from <br /> the Council. <br /> Council member Broussard Vickers addressed date changes in the contract and Mr. <br /> Malec stated that he will make the changes. <br /> Mayor Wilharber addressed a letter from Ole Mersinger, 6936 Tourville Circle and asked <br /> Mr. Malec to resolve this billing issue. <br /> Motion by Council member Travis, seconded by Council member Nelson adopting <br /> Resolution No. 99 -14, APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br /> CENTERVILLE AND WASTE MANAGEMENT. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 20t Avenue Sewer/Water Update <br /> City Engineer Tom Peterson provided an update on the sanitary sewer and water main <br /> rerouting at 20 Avenue. <br /> IX. NEW BUSINESS <br /> City Wide Bonfire <br /> Council discussed the Community Wide Bonfire at Acorn Creek Park and the request to <br /> waive the burning permit fee of $30 for this event. <br /> Council member Sweeney inquired about the material to be burned. Mr. March stated <br /> that he would check with the supplier and that if processed material was going to be used <br /> another supplier would be obtained. <br /> Motion by Council member Nelson, seconded by Council member Travis, to waive <br /> the burning permit fee of $30 for the Community Wide Bonfire at Acorn Creek <br /> Park on October 23, 1999.
