I had <br /> Mr. Malec sign an extension to the existing refuse contract that 1 drafted. The extension is <br /> valid until 11/1/99. Mr. Malec delivered a revised contract along with some additional <br /> pricing justification. I pointed out some changes that were discussed at the meeting that <br /> were not in the revised contract. I should have the final revised contract from Mr. Malec <br /> next week. This item will be placed on the first Council agenda in October. <br /> * I met with two students from the U of M who are working on a class project. Their class is <br /> conducting an inventory of park and open spaces for the Metropolitan Council. I provided <br /> the information for Centerville to update the respective maps. <br /> * The ads have been placed for recruitment for the public works position vacancy. <br /> * The design team sub - committees met with the Economic Development Committee on <br /> Tuesday evening. The EDC committee is planning to conduct interviews to 1111 the <br /> vacancies on their committee. <br /> * There is a Fete des Lacs revitalization committee meeting scheduled next week on <br /> Thursday at 7:00 at Chauncey Barett Gardens. <br /> * RO -SO plans to begin sewer and water construction at Center Villa next week. <br /> * Burschville is installing sewer and water at Royal Industrial Park this week. I spoke to <br /> City Attorney Jim Hoeft in regards to the City contribution towards the sewer and water <br /> extension in to the Industrial Park. The City has previously committed $60,000 towards <br /> 9/24/99 <br />
