Mr. John Green (7160 Brian Way) appeared before the Council to listen to the Council's <br /> direction on a piece of property he wishes to purchase near his home. The property is <br /> approximately 600 square feet. City Attorney James Hoeft explained the City needs to <br /> establish a fair market value for the property. Jim March will calculate the value by taking <br /> the assessed taxable land value increased by 15% and then pro -rate that figure by the <br /> square foot. Mr. March will present this figure to Mr. Green to see if it is acceptable. Mr. <br /> Green would be responsible for paying all transaction costs, including legal, recording and <br /> surveying, <br /> XI. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Council member Broussard Vickers discussed the Planning and Zoning efforts in revising <br /> the animal ordinance. <br /> LaMotte Park <br /> Motion by Council member Sweeney, seconded by Council member Nelson to <br /> approve the seeding and fertilizing at LaMotte Park. All in favor. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Center Villa Developers Agreement <br /> Motion by Council member Sweeney to accept the addendum to the Center Villa <br /> Developers Agreement. Motion seconded by Council member Broussard Vickers. <br /> All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Vacation for Diane Ward / City Clerk <br /> Motion by Council member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council member <br /> Sweeney to approve three weeks of vacation for Diane Ward with the third week <br /> being available after six months employment. Wilharber - Aye, Sweeney - Aye, <br /> Broussard Vickers - Aye, Travis - Aye, Nelson - Nay. Motion carried. <br /> XIII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> Motion by Council member Nelson, seconded by Council member Broussard <br /> Vickers to adjourn the September 8, 1999 City Council Meeting at 7:50 p.m. All <br /> in favor.
