Wilharber -Aye, Nelson -Nay, Broussard Vickers -Aye, <br /> Travis -Aye, Sweeney -Ave. Motion carried. <br /> Capra Utilities Pawn ent Request <br /> Mr. Tom Peterson (City Engineer) explained that Capra's Utilities installed some utility <br /> connections in the Parkview Addition. He was not sure who was responsible for the <br /> connection damages, but he thought it was Capra. <br /> Mr. Peterson mentioned he thinks the City should change the design of future sewer <br /> services slightly. Mr. Paul Palter mentioned he has seen plumbers cause the problem <br /> themselves through carelessness. <br /> Motion by Council member Nelson, seconded by Council member Travis to send a <br /> letter to Capra's Utilities stating that this is not a City issue. All in favor. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Sound System <br /> Council member Sweeney asked if the current sound system could be checked to make <br /> sure the microphones are not malfunctioning. <br /> Hugonian Article on Public Works Building <br /> Council member Sweeney stated he has had several complaints from residents that the <br /> City is going to build a public works building no matter what, and the taxes are going to <br /> go up no matter what. <br /> Mayor Wilharber stated he asked the writer of the article for her clarification on why the <br /> article seemed slanted. Jim March will send a letter to the Hugonian expressing the <br /> Council's dissatisfaction on the content of the article. <br /> X. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Motion by Council member Travis, seconded by Council member Nelson to approve <br /> the consent agenda. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Bob Korn (6759 Centerville Rd.) asked about the animal ordinance and what <br /> precipitated the discussions.
