NOT APPROVED <br /> CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> September 4, 1999 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Park and Recreation Committee held a special <br /> meeting on Saturday, September 4, 1999 at 8:00 an at Mr. Navin's house (7197 Brian Drive). <br /> Present: Chairperson Michael Navin <br /> Dale Larson <br /> Doug Porter <br /> Karla DeVine <br /> Absent: None <br /> Staff: None <br /> The purpose of the special meeting was to discuss and observe the Brian Drive Trail Issue. <br /> Mr. John Green (7160 Brian Drive) presented a request to purchase a small piece of land <br /> (currently a path) from the City that runs behind his house that he currently maintains. Mr. Green <br /> would lile to install a fence on the property to make it look nice and keep the flow of the existing <br /> fence going. Mr. Palzer indicated that currently the property is zoned as "Park Land ", and <br /> proposed City Council physically look at the property before granting the request. Mayor <br /> Wilhharber suggested sending the request to the Park and Recreation Committee for their <br /> recommendation. <br /> Motion by Mr. Porter, seconded by Mr. Brown to recommend the sale of the property, <br /> subject to surveying, legal costs, pay the fair market valve and set the fence back 2'4 feet <br /> from the paved path to match the existing chain link fence.
