... - cLTY REVIEW <br /> Fete Des Lacs: Mr. Magill suggested EDC sponsor the area businesses at the Fete Des Lacs by <br /> creating and selling entrance buttons attached to a coupon log for the customer to use at area <br /> businesses. Ms. Capra this was done for the 1992 Fete Des Lacs celebration, and was <br /> ! well received by businesses and elebration goers. <br /> YEAR 2000 BUDGET CONSIDERATIONS <br /> The Committee reviewed the budget considerations for the year 2000. The committee had no <br /> additional expenses to add at this time. <br /> GOOD NEIGHBOR PACKETS <br /> Ms. Dom updated the committee on the status of the Good Neighbor Packets. Ms. Dorn reports <br /> working with the Quad Community Press and the Centennial School District in obtaining information <br /> for the packets. Ms. Dorn has also been taking pictures throughout the City for updating purposes. <br /> Ms. Dorn indicated she will continue to work on the packets in hopes of having a draft completed <br /> by the October EDC meeting. The committee was in support of having Ms. Dom continue working <br /> on the packets, with the intention to have 500 packets ordered. <br /> Motion by Mr. Rehbine, seconded by Ms. Capra for the completion and ordering of 500 Good <br /> Neighbor Packets by Ms. Dorn. Motion carried. <br /> ORDINANCE UPDATE <br /> Ms. Fairbrother stated the Planning and Zoning Commission has recently submitted to Council, a <br /> draft copy of a revised Animal Ordinance. Planning and Zoning will resume discussion on City <br /> Ordinance #4 - Regulating the Use of Land/Building Codes and City Ordinance #5 - Discharge of <br /> Firearms. <br /> LINO LAKES AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE <br /> Tabled, to be placed on October agenda to be discussed with the expanded seven- member committee. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Motion to adjourn at 8:40 p.m. was made by Mr. Rehbine seconded by Ms. Capra.
