NOT APPROVED CITY OF CENTERVILLE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION WORKSHOP AND MEETING TUESDAY, APRIL fi, 1999 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the and - Zoning Commission ofthe City of Centerville held its regularly scheduled meeting and a workshop with the City Council on Tuesday, April 6, 1999, at CityHall, 1880 Street. Chair Linda Broussard Vickers John Buckbee Brian Hanson ABSENT: Chairwoman Kathy Welk Allen LaMotte STAFF/ CONSULTANTS: Jim March, City Administrator Ry -Chel Gaustad, City Clerk ********************************************** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** I OPENING Alternate - Chair Broussard Vickers opened - the Planning and Zoning meeting at p.m. II PUBLIC HEARING (S) Prior to opening the public hearing, Alternate ChairMs. Broussard Vickers reminded those present of the guidelines for audience participation in Planning and Zoning Public Hearing Meetings. A. Rezone request PUD (R &R Leasing) - [Deer Pass' Continued Ms. Gaustad updated the Commission on the proposed PUD - rezone for the Deer Pass development. The developerMr. Gerald approached the Commission and had requested town homes, however, the Commission was not in favor of the high density nor rezoning the R5 (Executive Homes) to R2A. Mr. Rehbein complied witlrthe Commission's desire to complete the PUD requirements by addressing the City PUD forms and questionnaire. Mr. Rehbein (Developer) explained the property is under examination from the DNR and Watershed District. There will be four wetlands mitigated to provide room for homes and the road. The Commission confirmed - no waterwill be directed onto another property. Ms. Gaustad noted a concern with the road width and one parcel sharing two driveways (accesses). The Commission opened the discussion.
