Mr. Engler stated that Mr. Drilling should be required to pay for the trees accidentally removed <br /> from his property. Mayor Wilharber stated that this was a civil issue between Mr. Drilling and <br /> Mr. Engler. <br /> Mr. LeBlanc suggested the building be moved closer to the street and parking be located behind <br /> the building to give more of a small town feel so that you see the building not the parking lot. Mr. <br /> Drilling stated that this was impossible because the County requires an 80 -foot setback off the <br /> county road. <br /> Mr. March stated that architectural features could be added to the building to draw the eye rather <br /> than the parking lot. <br /> Mr. Engler stated he did not want the parking lot located in the back of the building. <br /> Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Sweeney to approve the <br /> rezone of 1873 Main Street. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mayor Wilharber questioned Mr. Drillings anticipated submittal of final plans. Mr. Drilling stated <br /> as soon as possible and that he would like to commence construction in the spring. <br /> Council Member Nelson questioned the types of businesses that would be coming with the new <br /> strip mall. Mr. Drilling stated he been approached by Mansetti's Restaurant and Hair Update. <br /> Annual Contract Renewals <br /> 1. 2000 Audit Contract (ABDO, ABDO, Eick & Meyers) <br /> Mr. March explained the contract was the same as the previous year with the exception of a $400 <br /> increase. <br /> Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers, to <br /> approve the 2000 Audit Contract submitted by ABDO, ABDO, Eick & Meyers. All in favor. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 2. Joint Powers Agreement (Trail — Anoka County) <br /> Motion by Council Member Sweeney, seconded by Council Member Travis to approve the <br /> Joint Powers Agreement Anoka County Contract #2000 -0178. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> 3. Siren Maintenance (Embedded Systems) <br /> Motion by Council Member Travis, seconded by Council Member Sweeney to approve the <br /> siren maintenance contract submitted by Embedded Systems.
