MEMO <br /> DATE : September 7, 2000 <br /> TO : Honorable Mayor and Council <br /> FROM: Jim March <br /> RE : Rockin' Hollywoods at Kelly's Korner, Adult Sport Leagues <br /> Mr. Bill Bisek would like to appear before Council to discuss two items. The first item is <br /> the third annual Kelly's Korner Customer Appreciation Event. The Rockin' Hollywoods <br /> will be performing outside during the evening on October 14 from 8 — 12. There will <br /> also be a hog roast. Mr. Bisek is requesting a noise permit for this event. I do not recall <br /> any complaints from last year's event. <br /> The second item Mr. Bisek would like to address is adult sport leagues. Mr. Bisek would <br /> like to see the City have indoor volleyball leagues and boot hockey or broomball leagues <br /> in the winter. Mr. Bisek would also like to see an adult softball league operated in the <br /> summer months. Mr. Bisek appeared at the Park and Recreation Committee meeting on <br /> September 6 The Park and Recreation Committee is supportive of the concept. Mr. <br /> Bisek would like to approach the Council and discuss his concept in more detail. <br />
