Not Approved <br /> CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> AUGUST 23, 2000 <br /> 6:00 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly <br /> scheduled meeting on August 23, 2000, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> PRESENT: Mayor Tom Wilharber <br /> Council Member Dick Travis <br /> Council Member Terry Sweeney <br /> Council Member Linda Broussard Vickers <br /> Council Member Mari Nelson <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> STAFF: City Administrator, Jim March <br /> City Attorney, James Hoeft <br /> City Engineer, Tom Peterson <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Wilharber called the August 23, 2000 City Council meeting to order at <br /> 6:00 p.m. <br /> II. SET AGENDA <br /> The following items were added to the agenda: <br /> • Ordinance #4 under Unfinished Business <br /> • Correspondence from Lloyd Drilling under Unfinished Business <br /> • City Hall Generator under New Business <br /> Motion by Council Member Sweeney, seconded by Council Member Nelson <br /> to approve the agenda with noted additions. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> III. PUBLIC HEARING (S) <br /> Ordinance #4 <br /> Mr. March stated this was a public hearing to discuss the final changes made to <br /> Ordinance #4 as the recreational vehicle length was being increased to thirty-five <br /> (35) feet and minor language being amended to the whereabouts vehicles could be <br /> parked. He noted recreational vehicles could not be parked in the right -of -way of <br /> any driveway. Mr. March indicated the side setback was being changed to five <br /> (5) feet and ten (10) feet for the rear yard setback. <br /> 1 <br />
