YMCA of Greater Saint Paul <br /> Long Range Strategic Planning Process <br /> Chair: Don Gruber <br /> The YMCA of Greater Saint Paul is engaged in the process of formulating a vision and strategies <br /> for the next five years. <br /> The Association Leadership Council has met since March, 1997 to review societal trends, <br /> demographic projections and YMCA trend lines. <br /> In October, 1997 the Association Leadership Council held a strategic planning retreat to draft a <br /> vision and strategies for the next five years. These will be presented to the Executive Committee <br /> of the General Board for review on November 5, 1997. <br /> From there, the executive staff will be asked to develop association objectives to achieve these <br /> strategies. The total plan will then be presented to the General Board on February 4, 1998, for <br /> approvaL Within this framework, branch.boards and staff will develop branch objectives, and <br /> staff will develop branch annual plans to cany out those objectives. <br /> The Association 1999 Annual Plan will then be framed in accordance with the long term <br /> strategies. <br /> yam: -y' _ ' •Alin ; Jl I ' ;Ry_ SIP <br /> ;�II_ <br /> Don Gruber, Chair G.
