Mr. Drilling stated that a fence and trees could be <br /> implemented. <br /> Mr. Drilling questioned the Council on what they would like to see as the structural design of the <br /> building. Council Member Broussard Vickers stated that in her opinion, she would like to see the <br /> new structure built similar to the existing strip mall, to give an image of consistency. Council <br /> Member Nelson felt the new structure should focus more on the Design Team vision. The City <br /> has been really supportive of the Design Team ideas, she would like to see something that would <br /> make the structure look unique to Centerville. Mr. Turner added he would like to see a covered <br /> walkway all along the building. <br /> Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Travis to <br /> close the Public Hearing at 6:30 p.m. All in favor. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> December 20, 1999 Council Meeting Minutes <br /> Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Sweeney to approve the <br /> December 20, 1999 Council meeting minutes with corrections. All in favor. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> V. PAYMENT OF CLAIMS <br /> The City of Centerville December 21 through January 12, 2000 <br /> Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to <br /> approve the expenditures for the City from December 21, 1999 through January 12, 2000. <br /> All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Council Member Nelson questioned why the engineering and legal fees were higher then <br /> budgeted. Mr. March responded the higher fees are due to an increase in attendance at meetings <br /> and an overlap from H.R. Green. <br /> Centennial Fire District - December & January Expenses <br /> Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Travis to approve the <br /> expenditures for December and January Centennial Fire District expenditures.
