95 ;5:Ar vj
April 6, 2000 O "'
Mr. and Mrs. Jason Hedrick u
1909 73` Street
Centerville, MN 55038
Dear Jason and Robin,
The City of Centerville received a petition that you had signed in support of the
installation of a stop sign at the intersection of 73` Street and Quebec Street. The
petition was turned over to the police department for the purposes of conducting a traffic
study. This is standard procedure when a petition is received requesting any type of
street signage.
Included in this letter, please find a copy of the memo that was received from the police
department. This memo was delivered to the City Council at their last meeting. The City
Council directed me to send a copy of this letter to all of the residents that signed the
petition to see if there are any comments in regards to the police department
investigation.
The City Council chose to table this issue until their next meeting. The meeting is
scheduled for 6:00 on April 12, 2000 at City Hall. If you wish to provide additional
comments or to attend the Council meeting, please feel free to do so. If you have any
questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Jim March
City Administrator
