Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Travis to <br /> advise staff to draft a plan on the feasibility and cost of a handicap ramp for <br /> Mr. Zwicki at 6965 Meadow Court. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> New Traffic Light on Main Street <br /> Mayor Wilharber noted the Main Street and 35fr intersection is dangerous and <br /> suggested having a petition at the festival to gain signatures for a traffic light from <br /> the Centerville residents. <br /> Ray DeVine indicated he would work with Mr. Patraw on a booth. Mr. March <br /> stated he would be able to draft a petition for Mr. Patraw and indicated all <br /> signatures would not have to be from the City of Centerville. <br /> Sidewalk on Main Street <br /> Council Member Sweeney noted the new trail for Appletree Square on Main <br /> Street is not of high quality. He suggested all current and future sidewalks be <br /> held to a higher standard for the City, allowing sidewalks and trails to be straight <br /> and level. <br /> Mayor Wilharber advised Mr. Peterson of the development agreement with Lloyd <br /> Drilling for this site and asked him to report back to the Council in July as to the <br /> sidewalk requirements. <br /> Mr. March noted he communicated a concern for this trail /sidewalk and that it <br /> needs to be brought up to an improved level. He stated specifications would be <br /> made for all future developments. <br /> St. Genevieve's Parking Request <br /> Mayor Wilharbor noted Geno Noll is requesting additional parking for the hours <br /> of St. Genevieve's picnic, which would require the closing of Goiffon Road from <br /> County Road 14 to Sorel Street. <br /> Motion by Mayor Wilharber, seconded by Council Member Sweeney to <br /> approve the closing of Goiffon Road from County Road 14 to Sorel Street <br /> during the hours of the picnic and that all emergency providers be contacted <br /> with this information. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Brian Way Pond <br /> Patti <br /> ace, 7164 Brian Way, expressed concern for the pond in her back yard as <br /> it is drying up and cattails are beginning to over grow the area. She noted she was <br /> given the impression this pond would be dredged this year and asked if this was <br /> the case. <br /> 6 <br />
