City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> December 9, 2009 <br /> Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers <br /> to authorize executing a contreact with Local 49 for 2010 Contract Provisions. All <br /> in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 8. Res. #09 -040— Authorizing Closing Certain Funds <br /> Finance Director Jeziorski reviewed background information on several funds that were <br /> established to account for revenue and expenses related to their respective improvement <br /> projects and are currently paid and are no longer needed. <br /> Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br /> Fehrenbacher to authorize Res. #09- 040 — Authorizing Closing Certain Funds. All in <br /> favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 9. Consider Recycling Refund/Incentive for 2009 <br /> City Administrator Larson reviewed background information stating the City is <br /> anticipating that there would be approximately $5,500 more or less, remaining in SCORE <br /> Funds for the year. Staff recommended the City provide residents with a refund/incentive <br /> to increase their recycling efforts similar to last year. <br /> Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Paar <br /> to approve refunding recycling dollars that are left over from 2009 from the <br /> SCORE Funds to Centerville residents. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 10. Liquor, Tobacco, Massage Therapist & Establishment License Renewal/New License <br /> City Administrator Larson reviewed information on pending licenses and requested due <br /> to time constraints, that Council approve the licenses subject to meeting the license <br /> requirements per City Code. He explained Staff would require all Licensee's to complete <br /> the remaining requirements. <br /> The City Council consensus was to approve the licenses as long as all the requirements <br /> are met. <br /> Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br /> Paar to approve Liquor, Tobacco, Massage Therapist & Establishment License <br /> Renewal/New License, contingent upon all remaining requirements being met.
