r <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and <br /> Zoning Commission held their regular meeting on November 5, <br /> 1985 at City Hall. Chairman Tourville called the meeting <br /> to order at 7 :05 P.M. Present: Murray, Lindgren, Buesseler, <br /> Welk, and Dick Robischon as City Council Liaison. <br /> Motion by Murray, second by Welk to accept the minutes of the <br /> October 1, 1985 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSIN ±SS: <br /> Discussion on Ordinance #4. Items of concern were identified <br /> for further discussion. <br /> Article I - General Provisions <br /> 1. Table of Contents. <br /> 2. Improve organization and structure. <br /> 3. #13 - there is no article 8. <br /> 4. Incorporate /review amendments for consistency. <br /> Article 2 - Zoning Districts <br /> 1. Break Commercial & Industrial districts into <br /> additional districts. (ie. construction <br /> businesses don't belong in Commercial district) <br /> (Add light industrial zone) <br /> 2. R -4 needs to be incorporated into ordinance. <br /> 3. Look at additional residential districts <br /> (ex. 4 plexes, smaller lot size districts). <br /> Overall lot size requirements. <br /> 4. Improve district definitions /descriptions <br /> (including densities). <br /> 5. expand listing of permitted and conditional <br /> uses (Table A). <br /> 6. 25.06 deleted by amendment. <br /> 7. 24 - #6 - How does verticle siding apply. <br /> 8. 24 - #4 - Roof overhang requirements appropriate. <br /> 9. Define underlying zoning and how it applies. <br /> Article 3 - Supplementary Regulations <br /> 1. Signs - Should requirements be listed by districts? <br /> 2. 35 - Performance Standards - Are they too technical? <br /> 3. 34.04 - Is this provision needed? <br /> 4. Yard - List requirements by district? <br /> 5. 32.06 - This information should be under <br /> description of Agriculture - look at provision <br /> requirements. <br /> 6. 33.02 - Put these height requirements in district <br /> descriptions. <br /> 7. Yards - Look at corner lot requirements. <br /> 8. Look at additional fence regulations. <br /> 9. Look at all Article 3 to see if these provisions <br /> should /could be included better under zoning <br /> district descriptions. <br /> Article 4 - Non - conforming Uses <br /> 1.
