1 <br /> 2 <br /> 3 PLANNING AND ZONING <br /> 4 JUNE 6, 1995 MEETING MINUTES <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning <br /> 7 Commission of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> 8 on Tuesday, June 6, 1995, at the City Hall. Chairman Tourville <br /> 9 called the Golden Meadows Public Hearing to order at 7:08 p.m. <br /> 10 Present: Vermeulen, LaMotte, Absent: Drilling, Welk. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Tourville stated he will open the public hearing once again for new <br /> 13 information only. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Mary Capra, 1810 Fox Run, stated she received calls from residents <br /> 16 regarding when the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) will <br /> 17 make their decision on his application and that the date was June <br /> 18 22, 1995. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Kornovich presented his new proposal of the project of 4 buildings, <br /> 21 32 units on 5.54 acres. This does include 10% for parks, and each <br /> 22 unit has a two car garage. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Sanna Buckbee, 7381 Peltier Circle, asked if this was the public <br /> 25 hearing for the preliminary plat approval. Kornovich replied that <br /> 26 he would not be required to have a public hearing for lot split. <br /> 27 Tourville stated, "Let's not put the cart before the horse, let's <br /> 28 hear the proposal first." <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Kevin McGowen, 1980 Cardinal Drive, asked if the parks are going to <br /> 31 be public or private? Kornovich replied that he hasn't heard the <br /> 32 recommendations from the P &R committee. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Sanna Buckbee, 7381 Peltier Circle, questioned the proposed living <br /> 35 space. Kornovich gave the following requirements and proposed: <br /> 36 No. of Bedrooms Required Proposed <br /> 37 Square Footage <br /> 38 1 Bedroom 680 700+ <br /> 39 2 800 832 <br /> 40 3 1040 1150 <br /> 41 <br /> 42 and garages are 452 square feet. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Dawn Olson, 7228 Unity Avenue, asked if they are still going to <br /> 45 provide a tornado shelter. Kornovich replied, no. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 Rod and Lorraine Henslin, 1967 - 73rd Street, questioned the <br /> 48 driveways and the dumpster facilities and recycling centers. <br /> 49 Kornovich replied that the driveways still need to be defined and <br /> 50 there will be separate dumpsters for each recyclable. <br /> 51 <br /> 52 <br />
